Through a post on the game's forums, id Software's Peter Sokal has provided the PC gamer community with the minimum system requirements of the upcoming Wolfenstein episode. The World War II shooter which will bring back BJ Blaskowitz for more missions against the occult forces of the Nazis will need:

OS - Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista

CPU - Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor

RAM - 1GB RAM

Video Card - 256MB Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT or ATI Radeon X800

Sound Card - 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

HDD Space - 8GB (Plus an additional 800MB for Windows swap file)

Internet - Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer

Since the game is based on the id Tech 4 engine, even the recommended requirements should be pretty decent, giving a lot of gamers the chance to enjoy it. Of course, this is just a third of the story as Wolfenstein is coming in August not only for the PC but also for the Xbox 360 and PS3. We'll still play it on the PC though.
