Giving EA Sports a little friendly rivalry slap, 2K Sports has announced that its latest basketball video game, NBA 2K10, which was released back in October, has passed 2 million sold copies. The NBA Live rival, which was developed by Visual Concepts, claims to deliver the most realistic, stylistic, and feature-rich simulation experience in the NBA 2K series, thanks to additions and changes in everything from gameplay and graphics, to presentation and online features.

"We're proud of what we've accomplished this year with NBA 2K10, and this milestone is another fantastic reason to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the NBA 2K franchise," said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. "We would like to thank all of our loyal fans for their dedicated support and look forward to the continued success of this title."

According to Metacritic, NBA 2K10 averages a score of 83 our of 100, compared to 75/100 received by NBA Live 10. To find out more about NBA 2K10 see this page.
