Bethesda Softworks has just announced that the next game in the Fallout series, known as Fallout: New Vegas has been scheduled for an autumn (2010) release. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the studio responsible for Star Wars KOTOR 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2, New Vegas has been described as "not a sequel to Fallout 3" yet its storyline has not been detailed. The trailer released is just a teaser and doesn't reveal much other than you can expect more post-apocalyptic fun coming your way.

Fallout: New Vegas is set to be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
