The fifth major installment in the Splinter Cell series has had its US release set in stone (literally), which means it will finally become available on April 13. Delayed for a couple of years already, Splinter Cell: Conviction is a stealth action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal that 'still' has Sam Fisher as its main character.
Conviction takes place about two years after the events of Splinter Cell: Double Agent and sees Fisher severing his ties with Third Echelon (a secret branch of the NSA) after finding out that the death of his daughter was not an accident. On the run and with little allies by his side, Fisher will have to find his daughter's killer and the player will have to control him throughout this quest.
Splinter Cell: Conviction is set to be available for both the Xbox 360 and PC.
